Alain Durain

Alain K. Durain, 60, of Grand Forks, ND died Thursday, October 18, 2007 in Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND. Alain Kenneth Durain was born in De Soto, MO on August 5, 1947 the son of Kenneth and Jeannine ( Insert Maiden Name) Durain. He grew up and attended school in De Soto, MO and graduated from high school there. He then attended Jefferson Jr. College in MO. Alain served in the United States Air Force until being honorably discharged. He worked as a heating and air conditioning contractor before retiring. Alain married Dawn Branvold on Dec. 7, 1995 in Grand Forks. They lived in Grand Forks for six months and then wintered in Mission, Texas for six months. Alain enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and cooking. Alain is survived by: Wife: Dawn Father Kenneth Daughter: Kristi (Jason) Anderson ? Bismarck, ND Sister: Jeannice (John) Porta ? Fort Meyers, FL Nephews: Patrick and Jackson Grandchildren: Kenley and Joren Anderson. He was preceded in death by his mother.
