Aryca was born in Kankankee, Illinois to Dennis and Joan Johnson. She has resided in Grand Forks for the past 35 years, graduating from Central High School in 1992. During high school, Aryca volunteered at Valley Memorial Home-Medical Park. Following high school, she worked in two private day cares; one ran by Loretta Vobr in East Grand Forks and the other by Ruth Pederson in north Grand Forks. For the past 8 years she has worked at Wall's Medicine Center as the "official greeter". In 2007, she spent two mornings a week helping at Norby's Work Perks. She enjoyed special friendships with Jill Bisson, who assisted her in Pilates, Bob Steers her massage therapist and the "Shrimp man"- Kim Holmes. 710-4th Ave. South was home to Aryca for the past 7-8 years where she lived independently. She had many special friends that have been very special to in this apartment complex. Her love in life was working with people and helping with a project that needed doing. She was a great inspiration to many in life as she had a "million dollar smile". Aryca's mission in life was "heart work"; which we will be charged to carry on. Aryca is survived by her parents Dennis and Joan Johnson; sister, Melissa Kuhlman (Steven); nephew, Spencer Kuhlman; nieces, Emma and Estelle Kuhlman; brother, Darin Johnson (Kelly) and nieces, Madelyn and Katelyn Johnson; uncles, Wes Johnson (Patricia), Terrence Johnson( Susan), Tom Hanson(Jan), Ken Hanson (Linda), David Hanson (Kim, Barbara Jenson (Mike) and numerous cousins.
