Barbara Keller, age 53 of Grand Forks, North Dakota went home peacefully to be with her loving Saviour and Lord Jesus. Her devoted husband was by her side and all of her children on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Barbara Kay (Lundeen) Keller was born October 29, 1954 in Minot, North Dakota. She graduated from Bishop Ryan High in 1972 and in the following year she was crowned Miss North Dakota Universe. In 1973 she also completed Joseph's School of Hair Design. On August 11, 1973 she was united in marriage to Michael Peter Keller. They began their life together in Minot. In the fall of 1974 Barb and Mike gave their hearts and lives to the Lord, accepting Him as their Savior and commencing a lifetime of ministry together. Barb was the proud mom of four beautiful and loving children: Andrew (Danielle), Patrick, Justin all of Houston, TX and Nicole and her son Colby James of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Her new joy involved her grandson Colby and the excitement of an expectant grandchild from Andrew (Danielle) in November. Barb had been a dialysis patient for over six years as she patiently waited for a kidney transplant. Over two dozen donors willingly offered their kidney, but no match was made. Her faith never wavered, her love for others never faded and she made every attempt to maximize each day amidst great physical challenge. Barb's life was one of joyful service and great integrity. Her greatest joys in life were in serving her Lord Jesus Christ, her loving family and friends, and ministering to the needs of others. As a full-time licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel, Barb and Mike pioneered two churches for over 26 years including 21 years as pastors of Living Word Family Church in Grand Forks. She lived a life of immense prayer and was an inspiring mentor to many. She had a vast love for the Bible and worshipful praise. She loved music, art and interior design. In her times of leisure she enjoyed traveling, shopping, floral arranging, boating and reading. She was preceeded in death by her parents Marvin and Ramona Lundeen; and her sister Melanie Keith. She is survived by her husband, four children and one grandchild along with three brothers: Gary Lundeen (Bev), Jack Lundeen (Joanne), and Tom Lundeen (Nan). The family requests memorials be made to: Living Word Family Church for missions and Bible distribution. 5200 Gateway Drive Grand Forks, ND 58203
