Carol Amundson

Carol M. Amundson, 78, Wayzata, Minnesota, died peacefully at home in the company of her beloved husband of 59 years on Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Carol Mae Larson was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on December 31, 1929 to Selvin and Florence Larson. She married C. Gordon Amundson at Grand Forks, ND on October 3, 1948. They made their home in Wayzata, Minnesota. Carol is survived by her husband, C. Gordon Amundson, Wayzata, MN; children, Stephen (Barbara) Amundson, Kearney, NE, and Theresa (Mario) Calderon, Madison, WI; and grand children; John (Jill) Amundson, Minneapolis, MN, Kelly (Jay) Beaudry, Chanhassen, MN, Todd Peterson, Apple Valley, MN, Angelina Calderon, Boston, MA, Alejandra Calderon, St. Paul, MN; and Alba Calderon, Madison, WI; great grandchildren, Sydney Beaudry, Keaton and Avery Amundson. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will also be held in Minneapolis, MN at a future date. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Care Association of your choosing or, the Alzheimers Foundation.
