Dalonna Bjorge

DaLonna R. Bjorge , 63, Grand Forks, ND died Thursday, October 11, 2007 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. DaLonna Rebecca Minske was born October 11, 1944 in Drayton, ND the daughter of Melvin and Marvella (Dagen) Minske. She was raised and educated in Karlstad, MN and graduated from high school there. She moved to Grand Forks, ND and worked for Grand Forks Federal Savings and Loan Association. DaLonna married Marlyn Bjorge on November 22, 1965 in Karlstad, MN. They lived in Grand Forks where DaLonna worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co, AT&T and The University of North Dakota before going to work for the Grand Forks Herald where she was the Classified Advertising Manager. DaLonna enjoyed working outside in her flower and vegetable garden. She was a member of The Fighting Sioux Club and the Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include, husband, Marlyn Bjorge, Grand Forks; father, Melvin Minske, Karlstad, MN; brothers, Mylo (June) Minske, Karlstad, MN and Bryce (Karen) Minske, Roseau, MN. DaLonna was preceded in death by her mother and by her grandparents
