David Wilson

David G. Wilson, 53, Phoenix, Arizona, died November 15, 2007 after a long illness. David George Wilson, the son of George L. and Dorothy (Long) Wilson was born April 18, 1954 at Deaconess Hospital in Grafton, North Dakota. He attended school in Grand Forks graduating from Red River High School. While attending schools in Grand Forks, David worked for several local restaurants. David received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Mayville State College. David after moving to Minneapolis and Phoenix, Arizona worked as a trainer for Applebees Restaurant Corporation for many years. David's greatest interest and hobby was always in entertainment, mostly music. In particular he enjoyed doing choreography and lighting. His happiest times were spent with the family that survives him, especially his niece and nephews, Jessica Rerick, Jacob Rerick, James Preston III, Jared Preston, and Jorey Preston; his sisters, Mary (James) Preston, Jr., Jodi Rerick, and Denice Wilson, all of Phoenix, Arizona; his mother, Dorothy Wilson, Grand Forks, North Dakota. David is preceded in death by his father, George L. Wilson, grandparents, Neil and Eliazabeth "Beth)" Wilson, Harold "Bud" and Ruth Long. Memorial Services: will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2007 in Wesley United Methodist Church, 1600 4th Ave. North, Grand Forks. Interment: Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, North Dakota. Memorials: are preferred to Wesley United Methodist Church, or the Hospice Program of the donors choice.
