Eugene J. Tuma, 64, of Grand Forks, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at 4000 Valley Square Woodside Village in Grand Forks after a short, courageous battle with brain cancer. Eugene was born on March 20, 1943, to Albert I. & Mary (Lipsh) Tuma, in Conway, ND, where he attended school. Eugene was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks. He enjoyed playing bingo, attending rummage sales, and spending time with friends and family. He was always on the go. Eugene is survived by his siblings; Janice (Jack) Weaver of Grand Forks, Eunice (Earl) Walters of Grand Forks, Albert (Kathy) Tuma of Larimore, George (Judy) Tuma of Grand Forks; nieces & nephews, Shawn (Paula) Walters, Scott (Kim) Walters, Melissa (Bill) Franklin, Matt (Sharon) Weaver, Duane Tuma, Tami (David) Kuznia, Mark (Laurie) Tuma, Tim Tuma, Lori (Joe) Reinhold, 11 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Albert A. & Mary Tuma, and George & Anna Lipsh. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, November 30, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church 524 5th Ave. N. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: Thursday, November 29, 2007, from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at Amundson's and visitation will continue one hour prior to the Mass at the church. INTERMENT: St. Joseph's Cemetery in Brocket.
