Gladys Alice (Rath) Seidler York, 80, died July 6, 2008, at home in Fargo after a courageous 10 month battle with lung cancer. Gladys was born in Jordan, Montana, to Jacob and Bertha Rath on December 15, 1927. She was raised and went to school in Tuttle, ND. She married Gottlob Seidler on October 14, 1951, in Steele, ND. They eventually settled in Grand Forks, ND. They had 2 sons, Dennis and Terry. Gladys worked at Elroy Schroeder School in the lunch program and at JCP in the cafeteria. Her husband Gottlob passed away on September 26, 1974. She attended Aaker's Business College after that time. Gladys married Alan York, who has also passed away. Gladys is survived by sons; Rodney (Linda) Rath of Blackhawk, SD, Dennis (Gwen) Seidler of Fargo, ND, Terry (Deb) Seidler of Rogers, ND; sisters, Norma Korber of Manahawkin, NJ, Loretta (Peter) Hanson of Bismarck, ND, Marlys (Lyle) Leno of Tuttle, ND, Betty (Vernon) Guthmiller of Carrington, ND, and Gloria (Lyle) Guthmiller of Jamestown, ND; brother, Raymond Rath of Colstrip, MT, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Gottlob and Alan, & 5 siblings. **A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Dakota Clinic for the special care they gave her and to her wonderful neighbors for their special friendship to her.
