Harry Tandeski

Harry J. Tandeski, 75, Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, January 20, 2008 in Valley Memorial Home Eldercare. Harry Joseph Tandeski was born March 6, 1932 in Grafton, ND the son of Max and Staffie (Ebertowski) Tandeski. He was raised and educated in both Walsh County, ND and Marshall County, MN. Harry served with the Army National Guard before serving active duty with the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 stationed in both Japan and Camp Rucker, AL. Harry Married Marilyn Marken on August 6, 1960 in Crookston, MN. They lived in the Grand Forks area where Harry worked for Ray Construction and Dub Construction. He was also self employed in the construction business. Harry enjoyed being outdoors and tending to his yard. He also enjoyed fishing and working with his hands. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Tandeski, Grand Forks; sisters, Maxine Skoczylas, Long Beach, CA, Audrey (Roland) Beaudry, Lakewood, CA and Mary Ann (Tim) O'Keefe, Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Raphael Tandeski, Grand Forks, ND, Hilary Tandeski, Mekinock, ND, Leonard Tandeski, Mekinock, ND and Jerome "Polar" Tandeski, Grand Forks, ND. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Adeline.
