Mr. Holman Lovely Flanagin, Jr., age 81, of Cedartown, GA, formerly of Presque Isle, Maine and Grand Forks, North Dakota, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at his residence. He was born April 18, 1926 in Mapleton, Maine. Mr. Flanagin was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of The American Legion and the VFW. He also worked in the Transportation Industry as a Commercial Truck Driver. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Holman L. Flanagin, Sr. and Mrs. Thelma Filmore Downing, and his brother, Mr. Elton Flanagin. Family members surviving are daughters and sons-in-laws, Marda and Fred Bolt of Grand Forks, ND, and Holly and Scott Purpur of Grand Forks, ND; son, Chris Flanagin of Grand Forks; sons and daughters-in- law, Michael and Marg Flanagin of Thompson, ND, John and Dawn Flanagin of West Fargo, ND, and Andy and Lori Flanagin of Bismark, ND; brother, Sidney Flanagin of Casco, Maine; and companion, Norma Berry of Cedartown. Fourteen Grandchildren, and Five Great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
