John Seablom

John A. Seablom, 78, Buxton, ND died Monday, April 7, 2008 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. John Allen Seablom was born March 21, 1930 near Buxton, ND the son of John and Margaret (Ross) Seablom. He was raised and educated near Buxton. John served in the US Army in Germany from October 3, 1951 to September 17, 1953. John farmed most of his life near Buxton. He also worked for Tran systems as a yard truck and loader operator. John loved spending time with his family, working in his yard and gardening. He married Karen Fennern on March 17, 1983 in Hillsboro, ND. She survives along with his step-children, Deana (Ed) Mayotte, Laurie Davis, Joann Boushey, Kerri (Duane) Hagen, Dean Johnson, Jr., Tim (Karen) Fuglesten, Mike Fuglesten, Jeff (Stacey) Fuglesten; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Lorraine (Gordon) Mohn, Grand Forks, ND; brother, Vernon Seablom, Buxton, ND as well as several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret and by a sister, Lois Nesvig.
