Lynda Vigen

Lynda Marie Obie Vigen, 59, of Grand Forks, ND, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at Altru Hospital peacefully with all her loved ones by her side. Lynda was born June 22, 1948 in Grand Forks to Marlin and Mary Obie. She Graduated from Grand Forks Central and attended the University of North Dakota. She married Allan Enger and they resided in Grand Forks. Lynda was a stay at home mom and raised their two daughters. She later married Dennis Vigen of Arvilla, ND. They had one daughter together. Lynda and the three girls resided in Arvilla, where Lynda became very active with horses and also her girls. Lynda loved animals especially her puppy Jinxy and her cats. After the girls were older Lynda also worked for the YMCA and taught aerobics for 11 years in Grand Forks and many smaller towns in the area. She also worked at Ames Chiropractic Clinic until she became sick and could no longer work. Lynda was a very giving and caring lady. She loved meeting and talking to people. Lynda also enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family. Her family meant the world to her. Lynda will be truly missed by everyone who got to know her. Roseau, MN Randy (Tina) Obie - Badger, MN Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a baby brother Larry Obie.
