Marguerite Kotts

Marguerite M. Kotts, 92, of Grand Forks, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007, at Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks. Marguerite was born on May 28, 1915, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Frank & Marguerite Miller. She grew up and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School. She attended UND where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Marguerite married Eugene B. Kotts on March 3, 1962, in Grand Forks. Marguerite worked as a homemaker helping her husband farm in rural Emerado. Eugene died in 1982. After Eugene's passing, Marguerite moved to Grand Forks. Marguerite worked as a teacher, at Popplers Music, & Eide Motors. She was a lifetime member of the Rebekkah Maple Leaf #3. Marguerite is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, and a great-great niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene; sisters Madeline Soltis, Lillian Buegel, and Helen Surprenant. ***In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maple Leaf #3 Rebekkah Lodge @ 1609 Lewis Blvd. Grand Forks, ND, 58203, or to a charity of your choice in Marguerite's name.
