Veronica Hurley

Veronica Lynn Hurley, 17, Northwood, North Dakota passed away Friday, January 18, 2008 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks as a result of injuries from a car accident. Veronica was born March 27, 1990 in Grand Forks to Vicki Hurley and Brian Legg. She spent her early years in Grand Forks, moved to Emerado in 1997 and to Northwood in June, 1998. She attended Northwood Public Schools. She was active in FCCLA (Future Career Community Leaders of America) and volunteered her time at the Northwood Deaconess Nursing Home. She was confirmed at Northwood Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northwood. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed her family and friends. She loved music, shopping, watching movies; the lake and being with friends. She is survived by her parents, Vicky Hurley-Washington and Ernest Washington, Northwood; her sister, Naomi, Northwood; and her brother, Kevin Lommen, Grand Forks; grandparents, Mike Hurley, Marilyn Hurley of Grand Forks; great-grandmother, Joann Hurley, Grand Forks; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Veronica was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Charles E. Hurley.
