Wilson Ray

Wilson B. "Bill" Ray, Jr., Rural Grand Forks, ND, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in the Northwood Deaconess Health Center, Northwood, ND. Wilson Blair Ray, Jr. was born December 14, 1927 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Wilson and Hildor Ray. He was raised and educated in Grand Forks. He attended the University of North Dakota then served with the U.S. Army in Germany and Austria. After his military service, Bill returned to rural Grand Forks where he was a lifelong farmer in the area. Bill is survived by his bother, Gordon "Pat" Ray, Grand Forks and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; by brothers, Russell and Robert and by a sister, Shirley Shoemaker.
