Yvonne Foltz

Yvonne L. Foltz, 90, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, was taken home to the Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary on Monday, May 5, 2008 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Yvonne Luella Ostgard was born to Carl and Christine (Knutson) Ostagard on December 3, 1917 at Crookston, Minnesota. She grew up and attended school in Crookston and graduated from Crookston High School. Yvonne and Adam Foltz were married on August 22, 1943 at Seattle, Washington. They lived in Seattle for a time before returning to Grand Forks where they made their home. Adam Foltz died November 21, 2006. Yvonne is survived by her children, Dennis, Grand Forks, Victoria Yaniro, Beth Page, New York, Kregg (Patricia) Foltz, Grand Forks, and Bernard (Staci) Foltz, West Fargo, ND; daughter-in-law, Julie Foltz, Grand Forks; grandchildren, Daynette Yaniro, Nicholas Yaniro, Robert Yaniro, Ryan Foltz, Holly Foltz, Garrett Foltz, David Foltz, Adam Foltz, Carson Foltz, Erin Foltz, Shelby Foltz; a great-grandson, Nicholas Joseph Yaniro. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Adam, a son, Gary, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
