Shilo Matthias

Shilo J. Matthias, 9, Ardoch, ND died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 as a result of an accident. Shilo James Matthias was born October 27, 1998 in Grand Forks, ND the son of James and Terri (Renwick) Matthias. He attended Public School in Manvel, ND. Shilo loved outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding snowmobiles and four-wheelers. He also enjoyed farming and construction. Shilo was especially known for his kind and gentle heart. He was happy and good natured. He enjoyed the company of adults as well as kids and especially loved his sister, Mandy, very much. Survivors include his parents, James and Terri Matthias, Ardoch, ND; sisters, Mandy Matthias, Ardoch, ND, Ashley Matthias, Madison, WI and Danielle Matthias, Madison, WI; grandparents, David and Una Renwick, Grand Forks, ND, John Matthias, Hudson, WI and Joyce (Tim) Voigts, Eau Claire, WI; great grandparents, Marie Renwick, Cavalier, ND and Iva Polkinghorn, Cobb, WI; his cat, St. James and several cousins, aunts and uncles. Shilo was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Clarence Polkinghorn, Abraham and Lily Bartlette, Agatha and Romaine Matthias.
