Dennis S. Hiljus

Dennis Hiljus, 63, of Grand Forks passed on Tuesday evening, August 12, 2008 at Altru Hospital, from complications due to a severe stroke. Dennis and his wife Glenda are long time residents of Grand Forks making their home in Grand Forks since '71 after relocating to work for Phillips Beverage Company, where he spent 35 years. In those years, he definitely made his presence known, forging many friendships throughout the community. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife Glenda, son; Craig, granddaughter; Haley, father; Sherman. He was preceded in death by his brother Darrell and mother Louise. MEMORIAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008, at Holy Family Catholic Church 1018 18th Ave. S. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: 12:00-2:00 p.m. before the service at the church.
