Harry T Feilen

Harry Thomas Feilen, 63, Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. Harry was born December 29, 1944 in Wheaton, MN the son of Thomas and Mabel (Monson) Feilen. He was raised and educated in Sioux City, Iowa and in Fergus Falls, MN where he also worked on his uncle's farm. Harry served in the U. S. Marines before moving to Drayton, ND where he married Mary Lou Kirkeby in June of 1966. Harry moved to Grand Forks where he was employed several places as an auto mechanic. He returned to Sioux City, Iowa and worked as a power plant welder in Sergeant Bluff. He lived in Emerado and Manvel before returning to Grand Forks. Harry enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and NASCAR races. Survivors include his son, Harry (Darla) Feilen, Grand Forks; daughters, Ann (Vincent) Ramsey, Thief River Falls, MN and Debbie (Stephen) Hawkinson, Grand Forks, ND; several grandchildren; sister, Diane Feilen, Sioux City, Iowa. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and by sisters Delores and Darlene.
