Brian C. Hunt

March 21, 1990 — November 25, 2008

Brian Curtiss Hunt, 18, of Grand Forks died unexpectedly of natural causes on November 25, 2008 outside his apartment in Fargo. Brian was born in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil on March 21, 1990, and traveled with his adoptive parents to his new home in Grand Forks, where he was cherished as the baby brother of 3 older sisters. Brian attended Grand Forks Century Grade School, South Junior High, and Red River High Schools, and had moved to Fargo this summer and was attending Fargo South High School. He was so proud and happy with his successful effort in independent living in Fargo, setting up his own apartment with a buddy. He loved to tinker and tune his crotch-rocket' motorcycle. Brian was a natural-born salesman and enjoyed selling shoes, first at Sears in Grand Forks then at Journeys in Fargo. Brian was fascinated by nature, loved animals, and raised his beloved golden retriever, Rags. He traveled extensively with his parents who will always treasure the memories of his delightful companionship. Brian had great agility and speed and played sports with full fledged zeal. In grade school, he learned and competed in tae kwon doe, played softball, and participated in cub scouts. In high school, he enjoyed football, wrestling, and especially hockey. Brian was an unconditional friend, accepting all at face value. In return, he was always surrounded by countless buddies. Brian, our beloved "Best Guy" will be forever missed by his parents, Janet and Curtiss Hunt, his sisters, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews Vanessa, Christopher, Devin, Reyna, and Liam Jansen of Chanhassen, MN; Carrie, Troy, Olivia, and Zoe Wallin of Seattle, WA; and Renatta and Nadija Hunt of Minneapolis, MN, together with his grandparents, Halver and JoAnn Ross of Mt. Pleasant, UT, and Lawren and Zoe Hunt of Pueblo, CO.
