Dorrene Devos

Dorrene Devos of Grand Forks passed away on December 19, 2008 at home. Dorrene was born on August 11, 1946 in Grand Forks, ND to Edwin and Lillian (Blawat) Mozinski. She graduated from Stephen, MN High School. She married Donald Devos on September 4, 1965 in Stephen, Minnesota. Dorrene obtained her undergraduate degree from Mayville State University and a Master in Library Science from Emporia State University. She worked at Holy Family Catholic School, the Chester Fritz Library, and was currently employed at the University of North Dakota (UND) Law Library. Dorrene is survived by her husband, Don, of Grand Forks; her daughters Sheri (Steven) Torgerson, Ray, ND; Michelle (Kim) Monsen, Sidney, MT; Tammi Devos, Grand Forks, ND; and Kristi (Richard) Fryer, Liverpool, TX; her sister Phyllis (Martin)Vold, Grand Forks,ND; sister-in-law, Marian (Charles) Suda, Grand Forks, ND; her grandchildren Amanda, Jeffrey, and Justin Simpson; Shane, Nicole, and Troy Monsen; Samantha Trones; and Ryan Fryer; and her great grandchild Kaden Swenson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lelanee Lambl.
