Myra Jean Larson, 88, of Grand Forks, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Larimore Good Samaritan Center. Jean was born in Thompson, ND, on September 15, 1920, to Clarence & Mabel (Disrud) Anderson. She graduated from high school then attended a school for hair care. Jean worked for a shop in Grand Forks before becoming self employed. Jean married Kermit Larson on November 18, 1944. Jean was a longtime active member of University Lutheran Church of Grand Forks, and Naomi Circle. Jean enjoyed Bingo, sewing, and was a member of the T.O.P.S. club. Jean is survived by her husband, Kermit; son, Wayne (Karen Krause) Larson of Hannaford, ND; son-in-law, Paul Cox of Grand Forks; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Weber of Minnetonka, MN, Ryan Cox of Cottage Grove, MN; great-grandchildren, Kevin & Courtney Weber, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Bonnie Cox; sisters, Betty & "Toots"; brother, Clarence Jr. FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2009, at University Lutheran Church 2122 University Ave. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: the hour prior to the funeral service at the church. INTERMENT: (Spring) Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
