Clifford Francis Stout, 80, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009, at his home in Manvel, ND. Clifford was born on March 27, 1928, in Minneola, Iowa, to Harry & Viva (Dunigan) Stout. His family farmed in the area. After graduating from high school, he and his family moved to California. Clifford's career was a Route Salesman for Challenge Dairies in Fernbridge, CA. He retired in 1986. Shortly afterwards, he and his wife moved to Magalia, CA. They often vacationed in Arizona and made memorable trips to the east coast, Alaska, Hawaii, England, and Ireland. Some of Cliff's favorite pastimes were golfing, RV traveling, fishing, hunting, and reading. In the fall of 2008, Cliff and Bette moved from Magalia, CA, back to the Midwest. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herschel "Pete", Lloyd "Steve", and LeRoy; sisters, Marjorie and Marilyn, and stepson, David. Clifford is survived by Bette, his wife of 37 years; son, Jan (Cindy) Stout; daughters, Bonnie (Ron) Ankewiecz and Sandra Lee; step-son, Kelly (JoAnn) Olmstead, and step-daughter, Mary Beth (Jim) Aubuchon; 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Manvel, ND. Burial of Cliff's cremains will take place in the spring.
