Oscar D. Danielson

Oscar D. Danielson, 98, passed away March 9, 2009, at 4000 Valley Square Woodside Village in Grand Forks. Oscar was born on the farm in rural Reynolds, ND, May 28, 1910, to Ole & Marie (Hamer) Danielson. Oscar was first married to Fern (Cooper) Danielson until her passing in 1970. Then married to Dorene (Chandler) Danielson until her passing in 1982. Oscar worked for the Grand Forks County Equipment Maintenance dept. before retiring in 1975. Oscar enjoyed hunting and woodworking, he was also a member of the East Grand Forks Eagles Club. Oscar is survived by a son, Darrel (Marla) Danielson of Grand Forks; daughter, Clara Aichele of Hinckley IL; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty two great-grandchildren, sixteen great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouses ; 2 daughters, Carrolle Keaveny and Joyce Schultz; 2 sisters and 6 brothers and a granddaughter. FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 715 24th Ave. S. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral service at the church. INTERMENT: (Later Spring) Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
