Dale G. Wavra

Dale Gene Wavra Dale Wavra, 78, of Grand Forks, ND passed away on March 15, 2009. Dale was born on October 31, 1930 in East Grand Forks, MN, the son of Emil and Alfreda (Helm) Wavra . He grew up and attended school in East Grand Forks. Dale served for four years in the United States Navy. Upon returning from the Navy, Dale graduated from the University of North Dakota. Dale is survived by: Wife of 50 years: Beverly Wavra - Grand Forks Son: James Dale Wavra - Minneapolis Daughter: Julie (Miguel) Cortez - Corona, CA Grandchildren: Brandon and Kara Cortez - Corona, CA Sister: Joann (Bob) Sauter - Phoenix, AZ Brother: Jack (Gaylene) Wavra - Grand Forks Many Nieces and Nephews Dale was preceded in death by a sisters and brothers, Jeanie , Fay, Lyle and Don Wavra.
