Rodney Hiott

Rodney L. Hiott, 50, Grand Forks, ND died Firday, March 27, 2009 at home in Grand Forks. Rodney Lee Hiott was born November 15, 1958 in Rapid City, SD, the son of Arthur and June (Miles) Hiott. He traveled extensively growing up. He graduated from high School in Larimore, ND in 1978. Rodney enlisted in the U. S. Army and served in many places including Ft. Lewis, Washington, Germany and Ft. Polk, Louisana. Rodney enjoyed fishing and camping. Rodney married Rebecca Paterson and later Joyce Whit. Surviving family members include his daughter, Jennifer, Grand Forks; sons, Michael, Devils Lake, ND, Rod, Jr., Grand Forks, ND and Robert, Nebraska; his mother, June Hiott, Walterboro, SC; sisters, Rhonda Hiott, Walterboro, SC, Debbie (Scott) Olson, Grand Forks and Janie (Terry) Northberg, Wheaton, ND. Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Arthur and by his grandparents. Funeral Services and burial will be held in Walterboro, SC at a later date.
