Larry F. Wesley, 63, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, unexpectedly at his home in Grand Forks. Larry Floyd Wesley was born October 12, 1945, in Grand Forks, the son of Floyd & Rosella (Lowe) Wesley. He was raised in Thompson, ND, and graduated from Thompson High School in 1964. Larry married Mary Everson in 1970, making their home in Grand Forks. They have 3 children; Tracy (Jason) Uhlir, Travis (Amy Fisher) and Thomas (Martie). He was blessed with three granddaughters, Morgan and Marley Uhlir and Finley Wesley. He enjoyed talking and playing with them whenever he could. Larry had a passion for farming and driving truck. He worked for various employers in the Grand Forks area, most recently for Blomquist farms as a truck driver. He was very talented at woodworking. He enjoyed working in the garage, visiting, and spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite past-times was barbecuing in the backyard. He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren as well as his mother, Rosella (special friend Red); sister, Sharon (Gordy) Delano; 2 nieces; aunts, Clara Wilde & Evelyn Lowe. Larry is preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents, and uncle Jim Lowe. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND. VISITATION: 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Amundson Funeral Home. INTERMENT: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
