Ralph James Morgan "Rotten Ralphie", 87, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the Northwood Deaconess Nursing Center, Northwood, ND. Ralph J. Morgan was born April 22, 1922 in Grand Forks, ND the son of James Morgan and Della Mickelson. He grew up and attended school in Grand Forks and Minneapolis, MN. Ralph served in the CC's before working for The Great Northern Railroad. He then took a leave of absence from the railroad to serve in the Marine Corps during WWII. After serving his country and being honorably discharged he came back to work for the railroad for 42 years and retired as an engineer. Ralph married Grace Lenoir on June 11, 1971 in Grand Forks at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Ralph had many hobbies including collecting guns, building model airplanes, ships and cars, and fishing. He was also a member of the American Legion.
