Minnie T Johnson

Minnie T. Johnson, 104, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, July 19, 2009 in her home. Minnie Tolene Johnson was born May 27, 1905 in Mekinock, ND the daughter of Severin and Barbo (Hensrud) Nelson. She grew up and attended school in Mekinock. She married Thelmer Johnson. Minnie served as a midwife throughout the area helping to deliver many babies. She enjoyed baking, especially lefse,bread and buns and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all. Minnie is survived by: Sons: Sanferd Johnson - McVille, ND Stanley (Francis) Johnson - Lancaster, MN Dennis (Sharon) Johnson - Grand Forks Dale (Karen) Johnson - Buxton, ND Daughters: Marvel (John) Jensen - Grand Forks Marilyn Lunde - Grand Forks Lois Anderson - Buffalo, MO Joyce Aaker - East Grand Forks, MN Daughter-in-law: Janet Johnson - Kent, WA 39 Grandchildren, 60 Great Grandchildren, 25 Great Great Grandchildren Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Thelmer; son, Roland;15 brothers and sisters; sons-in law, Lynn Lunde and Leroy Aaker; and a daughter-in-law, Jean Johnson.
