Lorna Behsman

Lorna Aileen Behsman, 85, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Friday, July 17th at Valley 4000 Woodside Village after a long illness. Lorna Aileen Behsman was born November 14, 1923 in DesMoine, Iowa. Her parents were Walter and Ida Horswell. Lorna grew up and attended school in Hubbard, Minnesota. She graduated high school in Plainview, Minnesota. On August 16, 1947 she married Ervin Behsman in Owatonna, Minnesota. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Smith Construction in Grand Forks. Throughout her years she enjoyed lake time, golf, traveling, and family. Lorna especially enjoyed fishing while she was at the lake. Lorna is survived by her husband Ervin of Grand Forks, ND; two sons: Mark(Margot) Behsman of Cloquet, MN and Craig (Pam) Behsman of O'Fallon, MO; four daugthers; Jean (Steve) Weninger of Woodbury, MN, Karla (Gus) Gleason of Taylor Lake, Victoria, Australia, Kim (Tom) Cariveau of Grand Forks, ND, and Dawn (Matt) Huth of Denver, CO; 15 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren. Lorna was preceded in death by her parents and brother Arlo. The family would prefer memorials to be sent to Red River Hospice in Grand Forks.
