Forrest Ruhnke Jessen

Forrest Ruhnke Jessen, 81, of Grand Forks, died August 7, 2009, at St. Anne's Guest Home in Grand Forks. Forrest was born on June 15, 1928, to Ruth Ruhnke in Bowbells, ND. He attended school in Noonan. Then moved to Grand Forks in later years. Forrest enjoyed tinkering with magnets, can collecting, watching westerns, listening to Polka music, watching Fighting Sioux Hockey, and spending time with friends and family. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Grand Forks. Forrest is survived by his guardians, Jack & Jean Johnston of Grand Forks. He was preceded in death by his mother. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009, St. Anne's Guest Home 524 N 17th St. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral service. INTERMENT: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks.
