S. Delores Tvinnereim

S. Delores Tvinnereim 91, passed away Thursday August 20th, 2009 at the Prairie Manor Care Center, Blooming Prairie, MN. S. Delores Tvinnereim was born July 6, 1918 at Bristol, ND the daughter of Alden and Bertha (Bakken) Bratager. She graduated from the Bristol High School. Delores was married to Andrew Tvinnereim on June 8, 1941 at Bristol, ND. They lived in Holmquist, Burke and Webster SD, Winger, MN, Enderlin and Manvel, ND. Delores had worked as a bookkeeper and was a housewife. She was active with church circles and was a member of the Homemaker's Club. While in Manvel she served as an election judge and since moving to Austin in 1993 she had been a volunteer at St. Marks Lutheran Home and worked with the quilters at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Delores enjoyed her church and all of the activities. She also liked to cook, bake, entertain, play cards and work in her garden and mowing the lawn, as well as sewing quilting and visiting with friends and family. She was also a big Twins fan. Delores had been a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Manvel and Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, a son, Gary, brothers LuVerne and Allyn and a sister and brother-in-law, Julaine and Carl Johnson. Delores is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Charles Folk, Austin, MN; Leeila and Clarence Bina, Bismarck, ND; 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Frances and Grace Bratager, Kalispell, MT and sister-in-law, Ruby Bratager, Sacramento, CA. A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 Am Wednesday, August 26th at Our saviors Lutheran Church in Austin with the Reverend Glenn Monson officiating. Visitation will be at the church for one hour before the service on Wednesday morning. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday August 27th at the Amundson Funeral Home, 2945 South 42nd Street, Grand Forks, ND with interment at the Memorial Park South Cemetery in Grand Forks. Visitation will be held for one hour before the service.
