Lois J. Anderson

Lois J. Anderson, 68, Long Lane, Missouri, and formerly of Grand Forks, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota. Lois Jane Anderson was born to Thelmer and Minnie (Nelson) Johnson on June 26, 1941 in Grand Forks. She was raised and educated in Grand Forks, later moving to Missouri. She was employed by several hairdressing salons prior to owning and operating her own shop known as "Lois's Beauty Salon". She retired and moved to Grand Forks for a short time, and later returned to Missouri due to ill health. She is survived by a companion, Rodney Broyles, Northwood, North Dakota; sons, Greg (Debbie) Anderson, Belton, Missouri, Chris (Lori Mead) Anderson, Grain Valley, Missouri; a daughter, Jill (Paul) Brown, Long Lane, Missouri; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brothers, Sanferd Johnson, McVille, ND, Stanley (Francis) Johnson, Lancaster, MN, Dennis (Sharon) Johnson, Grand Forks, Dale (Karen) Johnson, Buxton, ND; sisters, Marvel (John) Jensen, Grand Forks, Marilyn Lunde, Grand Forks, and Joyce Aaker, East Grand Forks, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Roland. Private Graveside Services and Interment: were in Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks.
