Dale Frank Elkey

Dale F. Elkey, 66, Grand Forks, North Dakota died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in Triumph Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota. Dale Frank Elkey was born on April 21, 1943 at Grand Forks, North Dakota to Frank and Agnes (O'Neil) Elkey. Dale lived with his family and was a long term resident at the North Dakota State Development Center at Grafton until moving to Grand Forks. While living in Grafton, he was assigned as a messenger for all of the wards. He enjoyed this job a great deal and was very dependable. He was later employed by Success Unlimited, and also started attending LISTEN. Dale also worked for Development Homes, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and watching "Wheel of Fortune". Dale is preceded in death by his parents, and his only sibling, a sister, Sharon. Memorial Services: will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
