Matthew Dale

Matthew T. Dale, 41, Inkster, ND and formerly of Shelbyville, IN, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 near Johnstown, ND. Matthew Thomas Dale was born June 11, 1968 in Ft. Belvoir, VA the son of James and Linda (O'Brien) Dale. He grew up in Gilby, ND and graduated from Midway High School. Matthew served in the U. S. Marines during the time of Desert Storm. After his service, he worked for Black Gold Farms of Forest River, ND. Matthew also lived in Missouri before moving to Shelbyville, IN. He married Amy McCoy on June 10, 1993. Matthew worked for Meridian Automotive Systems in Shelbyville, IN for 16 years. Most recently as supervisor of maintenance of the company. He recently returned to Inkster, ND to work for Black Gold Farms. Matthew is survived by sons, Matthew, Benjamin, and Aidan, Missouri, his mother, Linda Dale, Grand Forks, ND; father, James (Libby) Dale, Shelbyville, IN; brothers, Jim (Karen) Dale, Joliet, IL, Jarrod (Kristine "Shorty") Dale, Inkster, ND; sisters, Larissa Dale, Plymouth, MN and Marci Dale, Grand Forks; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Emily and Aryn Krueger, Sydney, Dublin, Vegas and Sturgis Dale and Rebecca Sauvageau. Matthew was preceded in death by a brother, Jason; his grandparents, Glenn and Elizabeth Dale and Floyd and Edith O'Brien.
