Bonnie Sue Corbett

Bonnie "Mema" Sue Corbett, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded closely by loving relatives on Sunday, November 22nd. The daughter of Delmar Shoemaker and Florence Robinson, Bonnie was born in Boonville, Indiana in 1939. After living most of her life in California, she moved to Grand Forks, ND to be near her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who she loved dearly. Bonnie lived her life for her family and was very generous, helping those in need always before herself. She found much joy in collecting purses and shopping with her family, and spending time with those that were close to her. Those surviving Bonnie include her children Calvin (Janelle) Jensen, LaNelle (Brian) Garcia, and Terry (Donn) Huus, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sisters Virginia Hughes and Barbara (Benny) Stokes, and her lifelong friend Charlotte (Don) Shilling whom she considered as a sister. Bonnie Corbett was preceded in death by her mother and father. The love of her family will always be with her.
