Jaclyn D. Wimpfheimer, 75, passed away peacefully at the Prescott Nursing Home of Prescott, WI. surrounded by loving family on Monday, December 1st, 2009. The daughter of Jacob & Erna (Wendtland) Marto, Jaclyn was raised in Sabin, MN and Grand Forks, ND. and graduated Grand Forks Central High School. She married William Wimpfheimer on October 16th, 1959 at United Lutheran Church and recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Bill and Jacky owned and operated Cleanerama laundromat and car wash in Grand Forks. She spent many years as a loving mother, wife, and homemaker. She was also a member of the Grand Forks Optimist Club and enjoyed volunteering. In 2006, Bill and Jackie moved to the Twin Cities area to be closer to family. Survived by devoted husband Bill, Prescott, WI; Sons, Richard, Albq, NM; Steve (Kathy), Billings, MT; and Shane (RoAnn), Cottage Grove, MN, Daughters, Dianna (Steve) Wald, Austin MN; Tammy (Mike) Medcraft, Hasting MN; Brenda (Jerry) McCarthy, Hampton MN; and Julie (Steve) Carlson, Denver, CO. Jaclyn had 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Warren (Carol) Marto, Menonmonie Falls, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George and Ralph, sister Rosemary Marto and granddaughter Amber Carlson. Her beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
