Virginia Ann Carl

Virginia Carl died unexpectedly at Altru Hospital on December 13, 2009. Virginia was born June 18, 1933 to George and Laura (Olson) Roberts in Park River, ND. She married Jess Carl on January 7, 1951. They made their home in Grand Forks. Virginia was a devoted wife and mother. She was active with the University Lutheran Church WELCA. Her favorite activities were baking for the family, quilting and spending time at the lake. She is survived by her daughters Marla (Jerry) Paulson, Peggy (Richard) Klockmann, Kathy (Tom) Fetsch, and her son Mike. Ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sisters, Dolly Carl, Judy (Mike) Grinde. Brothers, Richard (Bobbi) Roberts, Bill (Judy) Roberts. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Jess, Sisters, Becky Haroldson and Marjorie Carmack.
