July 14, 1922 — January 4, 2010

Glenn Edison Hurst Glenn E. Hurst, 87, died on Monday, January 4, 2010, at the Hatton Prairie Village, Hatton, North Dakota. Glenn was born to Clarence and Opal Hurst on July 14, 1922, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. On March 11, 1944, Glenn and Orella Onstad were married at Davenport, Iowa, and then moved to Grand Forks, where they lived until moving to the Hatton Prairie Village in 2007. The couple had three children: Suzanne Faye, Timothy Jay, and Danny Ray. Glenn was a watchmaker and worked with several jewelers in the Grand Forks area. As a couple, Glenn and Orella were like, "two peas in a pod," and were rarely seen one without the other. They enjoyed dancing, taking walks and drives together, finding the best meal and cup of coffee at the least expensive price, and visiting with friends. Glenn is survived by his wife, Orella M. Hurst; daughter Suzanne (Vern) Voelker, of Grand Forks; son Timothy (Judy) Hurst, of Roseau, Minnesota; and daughter-in-law Linda Hurst (Jeffrey) Torgerson, of Grand Forks. Grandchildren are Krisy Bryant, Jayson Hurst, Kari (Jack) Wagner, Jeremy (Jennifer) Hurst, and Dereck (Sarah) Hurst. Great-Grandchildren are Justin (Hilary) Moser, Taylor Moser, Austin Hurst, Kaleb Lynch, Daniel Hurst, Mason Wagner, and Tyler Hurst. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Danny Hurst.
