Daryl W. Crockett, 77, Grand Forks, North Dakota, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Daryl Wing Crockett was born August 11, 1932, the son of Elmer and Florence (Livingood) Crockett in Langdon, North Dakota. He attended school in Langdon, and graduated from Langdon High School. He served in the US Army in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. Daryl and Jean Marie Chase were united in marriage on May 5, 1961 in Grand Forks. They resided in Grand Forks where Daryl was employed in carpentry until he retired in 1995. He is survived by his wife Jean, Grand Forks; 2 sons, Kent Alan (Jenny) Crockett, Marion, IA, and Kurt Douglas (Nancy) Crockett, Denver CO; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Marlys Patterson, Grand Forks. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Trent Ashley Crockett. Daryl was an avid golfer and enjoyed bike riding.
