Dale Alan Schaumburg

Dale Alan Schaumburg, 47, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, January 24, 2010 in his home. Dale A. Schaumburg was born in Mahnomen, MN on October 16, 1962 the son of John and Dorothy (Crandall) Schaumburg. He grew up in Mahnomen and graduated from High School there in 1981. Dale then attended the East Grand Forks Technical School and earned a degree in diesel mechanics. He worked for Dietrich Bus service for several years and then in 1989 Dale started working for Vigen Construction until present. Dale loved to go hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycle riding, being outdoors and woodworking. He was a loving father and a wonderful friend to his boys. He was also a best friend to Sue. Dale was always there with a helping hand, he cared about others and was a hardworking man. Schaumburg - Grand Forks, ND Parents: John (Dorothy) Schaumburg - Mahnomen, MN Brothers: Richard "Butch" (Elaine) Schaumburg - Bemidji, MN Rodney (Gwenn) Schaumburg - Plymouth, MN Mark (Jane) Schaumburg - Thief River Falls, MN Mike Schaumburg - Bejou, MN Sisters: Pat (Jim) Todahl - Fertile, MN Susan (Ron) Thorsrud - Twin Valley, MN Many Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother-in-law, Allan Matson; Godson, Brady Jensen and niece, JoAnne Marie Schaumburg.
