Esther Robertson

Esther L. Robertson, 98, Grand Forks, ND died Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Valley Memorial Home Eldercare of Grand Forks, ND. Esther Lavonna Brown was born November 21, 1911 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Wilmot and Rosella (Irwin) Brown. She was raised and educated in Rye Township of Grand Forks County. Esther married Roy Robertson on May 13, 1930 in Crookston, MN. They lived and raised their family in Grand Forks. Over the years, Esther's main focus was her family. She especially enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She would also work from her home, ironing clothing for others. Survivors include her sons, Gary (Eloise) Robertson, Frank (Vicki) Robertson and Patrick (Kandy) Robertson all of Grand Forks; daughters, Florence Froschheiser, Thief River Falls, MN and Jackie (Jim) Molfino, Grand Forks; 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; daughter, Judy McConnachie; sons, Gene and Richard; brother, Lester Brown; sisters, Leona Robertson, Mae Moen and Annie McIntyre and two great grandchildren.
