Evelyn Kyle

Evelyn K. Kyle, 93, passed away March 11, 2010 surrounded by family at her home in Grand Forks. Evelyn was born on May 12, 1916, in Plaza, ND, the daughter of Emil and Mary (Trulson) Kingsburg. Evelyn grew up in the Minneapolis area and graduated from Minneapolis South High School. Evelyn married Allan R. Kyle on May 4, 1942. She was an avid tennis player, golfer and figure skater. Evelyn loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was very active in church activities. Allan died December 9, 1977. Evelyn is survived by her children; Michael Kyle of Grand Forks, Kathleen (Dennis) Morgan of Burlington, WA, Dennis (Dawn) Kyle and Kevin Kyle of Grand Forks; grandchildren, Sean and Kelly Kyle; brothers, Cyrus Kingsburg and Orville Kingsburg of Minneapolis, MN. She is preceded in death by her husband Allan; sisters, Mabel Copeland, Silvia Erdman; brothers, Verner and Floyd Kingsburg. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010 at University Lutheran Church 2122 University Ave. in Grand Forks, ND VISITATION: Wednesday, March 17, from 6:00-7:30p.m with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the funeral at the church. INTERMENT: (Spring) Memorial Park Cemetery of Grand Forks, ND.
