Ernest Brazee

Ernest L. "Ernie" Brazee, 71, Grand Forks, ND died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. Ernest was born January 6, 1939 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota the son of Howard and Amy Brazee. He lived several places growing up as his father was a construction worker. Ernest graduated from George Washington High School, Los Angeles, CA. He has lived and worked in Grand Forks area since 1966 at the North Dakota Mill, Woodwards and served in the US Air Force then retired from US Army (ND National Guard) as an NCO instructor. He was an active Captain in the Civil Air Patrol. Ernest was a faithful man who loved his church family and was an active member of the Bible Baptist Church in Grand Forks since 1966. He also enjoyed computers and photography. Ernest was married June 11, 1961 in Burke, South Dakota to Evelyn Svoboda. She survives along with three sons, Michael (Mary), Lanesboro, MN; David (Lisa), Thompson, ND and Timothy, Red Wing, MN; 6 grand children, Anthony, Gabriella and Michaela, Ethan, Leanne and Stephanie and 1 brother, James, Valley Springs, SD as well as aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents.
