Lorraine Gavere

Lorraine A. Gavere, 72, Grand Forks, ND, died Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Lorraine Arlene Bouchard was born January 17, 1938 at Lowell, MA to Phillip and Margaret Bouchard. She was raised and educated in the Boston, MA area. On July 12, 1969 Lorraine married Gregory Gavere in Sommerville, MA. They lived at Derry NH, until they moved to Thompson, ND in 1976 and then to Grand Forks in 1991. Lorraine enjoyed events with her family, and also enjoyed crocheting and motorcycle rides. She is survived by her husband, Gregory, Grand Forks; her children, Lorrilyn DeCoteau (Paul), Rolla, ND, David Gavere (Lucinda), St. Michael, ND, Sean Fetterman (Jim), St. Paul, MN, and Jeff Gavere (Tara), Grand Forks; grandchildren, Phillip Gavere, Jennifer Michelle Gavere, Samantha Wabs (Tom), Angela Gavere, Michael Gavere (Chelsea), Katie Gavere, Misty DeCoteau; great-grandchildren, Aireaana, Kiiaana, and Mayka Moore; brothers, Ronald Bouchard (Vicky), Concord, NH, and Kenneth Bouchard, San Diego, CA; sisters, Christine Gauntt, Concord, NH, and Kathy Decowski (Bob), Bel Ricca, MA; Brother-in-law, Timothy Gavere (DeAnn), Arizona City, AZ and their daughter, Kaia Simpson, Denver, CO. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Phyllis, and a brother, David. Services: 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1710 Cherry St., Grand Forks. Visitation: will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with an 8:00 p.m. Prayer Service Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks, and for the hour prior to the service in the church. Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks.
