The world will be a little less funny as our beloved James was brought to be with the Lord on June 5th, 2010. James, "Jimmy" to his family, passed away early morning as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle in Grand Forks. James was born in Bellevue, NE on May 27, 1989, the son of Yolanda Price and Ronald Freestone. He attended school at Red River, an ever present face in the music and theater departments, graduating with the class of 2007. He attended Northland Community and Technical College after high school. He remained involved with mentoring other students in music and theater as he continued his involvement in the community. Privately, his creative nature was displayed in his poetry, writing and photography. James had recently been employed at Hugo's on Columbia where he quickly grew a new set of friends. For those who knew James, he was a deep, funny person who had a big heart for others. Always joking and smiling, he was a magnet for new people. James' honesty and ability to see the true light in people made him an instant best friend. He went after his dreams and inspired hundreds along the way. Surviving members of the family include his parents, Yolanda (Ken) Price and Ronald (Brenda) Freestone; siblings/step-siblings, Jackie (Jeremy) Hoffarth, Robert Freestone, Carol (Justin) Bjarnason, Nicole Price, Joseph Freestone, Brendan Pender, Emily Brooks, Megan Price, Desiree Price and Kenny Price; his cat, Boots; nephews, Tommy, Adam, Joshua and Bryce; nieces, Isabel, Kara, Olivia and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. With his passing, he now joins his grandparents
