Frank A. Binkley, 85, Grand Forks, North Dakota, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, surrounded by loved ones. Frank A. Binkley was born to Fred and Edna (Allen) Binkley on April 20, 1925 at Wilder, Idaho. Frank was raised and educated at Wilder. He served in the US Army from August 24, 1943 to March 27, 1946. Frank Binkley and Beverly Asleson were united in marriage on December 6, 1952 at Spokane, Washington. They lived at Sandpoint, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho, before moving to Grand Forks and later to East Grand Forks. Frank retired from the University of North Dakota Food Service after many years of employment. He was a member of the Eagles and the Grand Forks Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, Grand Forks; a son, Jeff (Lynn) Binkley, Brooklyn Park, MN; a daughter, Kandi Deaver, Sedona, AZ; two children from a previous marriage, Dana (Judy) Binkley, Orem, Utah, and Rita Diane Evey, The Dalles, OR; grandchildren, Carolynn, James, Joe, Jana, Scott, Alicia, Patrina, Jack, and Matthew; 15 great grandchildren; sisters Lois Barber, Spokane, WA, Bonnie Lomax, Seattle, WA, and Lavonne Howell, New Plymouth, ID. He is preceded in death by brothers, Paul Binkley, and Burl Binkley; and sisters, Dorothy Livesay, Nina Filatz, Ruth West, and Virgie Rorabaugh. Funeral Services: will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1515 5th Ave NW, East Grand Forks, MN. Visitation: will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service and one hour prior to the funeral service, all in the church Interment: will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.
