Barbara J. Ringbloom

Barbara J. Ringbloom, 84, Grand Forks, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at home. Barbara Jeanne Brett was born to William Joseph and Helen (Wolfe) Brett on April 19, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised and educated in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Barbara J. Brett and Rodney A. Ringbloom were united in marriage at Christ the King Parish on October 26, 1949 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Barbara was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks. Barbara is survived by her husband, Rodney, Grand Forks, ND; her children, Susan Splichal (Daniel), and Pete Ringbloom (Stacy), of Grand Forks and Fargo; two grandchildren, Michael Splichal, Redmond, WA, and Katherine Splichal (Todd Wagner), Cleveland Heights, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, William and Robert Brett. A private Memorial Mass was held in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks.
