Alice Marie Rey passed away June 23, 2010 at the age of 95. Alice was born in Park Rapids, MN on October 21, 1914 to Anna Fox and William Brown. She married Walter A. Rey on December 24, 1930 in Park Rapids and settled in the Baudette, MN area. In 1945 they moved to Grand Forks. She loved music and dancing and her hobbies were reading, sewing, and gardening. Her husband died in 1980 and she later married Milford Hoffman. They wintered at Lake Havasu City for 20 years and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. In 2003, they became residents of 4000 Valley Square with Milford passing away in 2005. She is survived by her children, Dyan Rey (Eliot Glassheim), William Rey (Carol), Donald Rey (Agnes), and Walter Rey Jr. (Nancy), 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakcrest Village Neighborhood at 4000 Valley Square or to a charity of your choice.
