Donald Chisholm

Donald D. Chisholm, 59, Manvel, North Dakota died Thursday, June 24, 2010 in Manvel. Donald David Chisholm was born in Grand Forks on September 11, 1950 to Thomas and Irene (Jarombek) Chisholm. He attended Falconer Rural School near Manvel, and Manvel Public School, and graduated with honors from Northwest School of Agriculture at Crookston, Minnesota. Donald never married. He lived and farmed at Manvel. He enjoyed his cats and visiting with people. He had a great love and respect for nature and animals, often taking in and caring for stray animals at his farm equipment shop. May he rest in peace. Donald is survived by his mother, Irene (Karl) Simon, Wickenburg, AZ; siblings, Jeanette (Jerome) Kuckacka, Montgomery, MN, Joanne (Jerry) Wright, Hillsboro, ND, Tom Chisholm, Grand Forks, Mary (Steve) Hoverson, Fort Bragg, CA, Dan (Cathy) Chisholm, Grand Forks, ND, Keith (Lori) Chisholm, Manvel, ND, Ken (Mary) Chisholm, Grand Forks, Bonnie (Mike) Hagen, Grand Forks, Doug Chisholm, Manvel, ND, and Rod Chisholm, Manvel, ND; 18 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas, a brother, Larry, and an infant brother. Memorial Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation: one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
